- Dan
Demay - Of course you must go visit my
talented, songwriting brother Dan Demay. Make sure you check
out his new CD that we just finished up not too long ago.
It sounds great, and the songs are incredible!! I shamelessly
brag about Dan's songwriting every chance I get.
- Christy
Thompson Galleries - I have to brag about
my talented sister also. She is an extremely talented portait
and still life artist in our home state of North Carolina.
Please visit her website. She has some really nice artwork
that you can buy online.
- The
Grascals - If you haven't seen these guys
play live, then you're missin somethin'. They run the notes
like nobody's business and what great vocals!!
- Mike
Snider - We had the honor of recording
Mike Snider's latest CD. You can buy it at his website. Man, he can pick three finger banjo
with amazing precision and flare!! He also has a collection
of monster players on this album with him, such as Timmy
Crouch, Jesse Cobb, Tony Wray & Terry Smith.
His CD came out great.
- Ronnie
Reno - Here's a great man of Bluegrass and Country. Raised by a legend (Don Reno) to become a legend himself. We have the great honor to call Ronnie our good friend. Every moment I spend around this man, I learn a profound lesson. He is an extremely wise person and I do my best to be a quick study. His vast experience in the business is enough to impress anyone. I've taken an interest in producing. We're in recording
his new CD. He's the "real deal" as far as Bluegrass
goes. He's real good Bluegrass singer, musician and writer
who has backed other well known acts for most his career.
Now he's finally decided to strike out on his own, with
his original material.
- James
Creek Road - James Creek Road is a Midwest
Bluegrass band based in northern Illinois. They are a great
bunch of pickers and singer, who have also written their
own material. Not only are they a blast to work with in
the studio, but they also have a really good live show.
Their backgrounds touch on everything from deep down Southern
Bluegrass and Gospel music to sharing the stage with several
Country artists. Be sure to pay them a visit.

White's new Gospel Album, and it turned out great. Be sure

and spreading God's word.

- Remembering
Vassar Clements - Our first session here
at SongCity Studio, we had the honor of having the great
Vassar Clements play. What a great talent to start off our
first bluegrass tracking session. We were very saddened
to here on August 16th 2005 at 7:20 am, that Vassar
had passed on, after his brave fight with lung cancer. Visit
his site and read about this great virtuoso artist. We all
miss you Vassar.
- John
Birdsong Jazz - I had the great pleasure
of spending time with John and several other great jazz
musicians during a rehearsal prior to the Watertown Jazz
Festival (July 9th). One of the other musicians was Donald
Browne on piano. Visit John's website and follow his calendar
and check out his shows. One word will describe John and
the cats he hangs with... "amazing". Truly great
jazz.
