We have strong confidence in our Trident console, which adds a nice, full, round, yet crystal clear tone to the signal. We still utilize our great collection of pristine external mic preamps as well. In fact, we run most of our signal through 22 external high-end mic pre channels that we use all at once during the recording process, 4 channels of API, 16 channels of Millenia HV-3Ds, a Universal Audio 6176 (with a 610 Tube pre with 1176 compressor), and an M-Audio Tampa pre and compressor.
